My purpose is to understand the emotional repercussions all important financial matters have on one’s sense of well being. It is my job to comprehend the goals, aspirations, concerns, and fears you may have and create a tactile, factual road map for your journey.
I am a registered investment advisor. My firm is registered with the State of Connecticut. My career in financial services began in 2010. I earned my series 7 and series 66 combined uniform securities licenses and went through the firm training program of the firm I represented at their headquarters in St. Louis. MO.
I believe that the most intelligent people understand that they must listen to the lessons taught by those who came before them. When the senior partners I’ve had the fortune of learning from began their careers, they worked under the tutelage of advisors who’d witnessed the era of the Great Depression and market crash of the 1920’s and 1930’s. My senior partners incorporated those lessons and values and developed their own methods of practicing through the financial ups and downs of the past 30 years. My father led his clients through Black Friday in 1987, the creation and climax of the Dot Com bubble, and the recent market crash in 2008 which caused the global financial crisis. My investment theory is grounded in the methods developed by the people who went before me, the lessons history has to offer, and the application of those lessons to current market conditions and activity.
In evolution, the species which thrives does so by focusing their attributes through specialization. By resourcing the work of a network of highly intelligent individuals with different specializations, I operate in an environment of dynamic but specialized financial information. I meet with my clients and discuss their history, concerns, hopes, and current financial status in order to create a comprehensive plan. The relationship with my client continues as the plan is executed. Alterations are addressed as life’s events unfold and outlooks evolve.
I’m responsible for not only analyzing the work and investment results of the money managers or investments I chose to work with, but also the value of the services they offer and the fairness of the compensation which they request. From those professionals I determine the applicability of their investment philosophy to each client’s personal goals. If there is not a fit, I find an alternative. I feel that automation serves its function best when applied correctly and at strategic time intervals. I take pride in providing my clients with excellent customer service and feel all financial professionals have an obligation to do so. I chose the name Bespoke Wealth Management for my firm to reflect my belief in providing high quality, individualized service.
I love what I do, because I love who I work with. As your friend, partner, confidant, and sometimes therapist, you don’t need to tell me how to get you there, just where you’re coming from and where you want to go. Together, we’ll do the rest!
